Paste From Excel is a new add-on for WooCommerce Advanced Bulk Edit (WCABE) that lets you copy cells from Excel or Google Sheets and paste them straight into the WCABE grid. Prices, stock, titles, descriptions — select your data, hit Ctrl+V, and your products update in seconds.
How it works
The workflow is dead simple. Copy your columns in Excel (make sure one of them is SKU), open WCABE, and paste. The plugin auto-detects your SKU column, matches rows to your existing products, and maps your fields automatically. You get a full preview before anything changes, so you can check which SKUs matched, review the data, and confirm. Hit “Apply to Grid” and you’re done.
What you can update
Right now the add-on supports 9 fields: Product Title, Regular Price, Sale Price, Stock Quantity, Description, Short Description, Weight, Status, and SKU (used for matching). It handles both US and European number formats, strips currency symbols, and validates everything before it touches your store.
Safe by design
Nothing saves to your database until you click WCABE’s “Save Changes” button. And if something looks off after pasting, there’s an Undo button that lets you roll back up to 10 paste operations with one click.
